Car carriers
are generally called Pure Car Carriers (PCC),and have
the ramp ways
on the side of the ship allowing automobiles to roll
on and off the ship. In Pure Car and Truck Carriers
（PCTC）,the decks can be raised and lowered to allow
accommodation of buses, trucks and other large vehicles.
The number of these vessels has been increasing in recent
years. A fleet of the Nissan Motor Car Carrier is mostly
of this PCTC type.
